Where it all Began
Asheville, NC
Tess is living in North Carolina, and begins working at Future in ‘21.
Corey is living in Arizona, and begins working at Future, on the same team as Tess, one year later
July - Corey decides he’s done with the Arizona heat and wants to travel to see friends and family before figuring out where to land next. Tess lures him to Asheville & Boone with the promise of fall foliage, football, beer, and Oliver.

October: They went on lots of sunrise hikes, and had pizza at a brewery for their first “official date.”
Corey never continued his trip around the country.
‘24: Corey lands a job with the Mariners, quite literally as far away as possible, and Tess followed him across the country to Tacoma, Washington with Oliver for the first of many of her own cross-country road trips for him.
'26: Corey asks Tess to marry him on a sunrise hike, the same way they started their relationship.
Though originally meeting while over two-thousand miles apart, we’ve never let distance stop us. Three years later, thousands of miles explored, and a truly countless amount of baseball watched, we've finally made it official!
